The tandem parachutes are specially designed to offer the maximum safety to the passengers. The ones used by Skydive MADRID are from the most prestigious manufacturers, with many years of experience within the sector. In addition to this, our instructors are professional skydivers with all the needed licenses and qualifications and thousands of jumps of preparation.
Safety in modern skydiving is extreme. The equipment used is composed of two parachutes: the main canopy and the reserve, folded exclusively by riggers certified by the manufacturers of the equipment. In addition, a eletronic system integrated in the equipment will open automatically the parachute at a predetermined altitude if necessary.
It is not allowed to jump wearing whatever element that could risk the activity or bother the tandem instructor Local or State Federation procedures are written and must be strictely followed, Skydive Madrid’s staff and management are both responsible for guaranteing everybody fulfills the rules.
TO DO A TANDEM YOU MUST FULFILL THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
Minors will need authorization of their father / mother or legal guardian accompanied by the minor’s documentation (DNI / Passport) as well as the legal guardian documentation.
For SAFETY reasons: if you weigh more than 100kgs unfortunately you will NOT be able to jump. Contact us if you have any questions about it.
