All equipment are in perfect maintenance condition and equipped with the latest security systems.

In addition, all our equipment has a second parachute or “reserve” with similar characteristics to the main one, and each tandem equipment used in Skydive MADRID is equipped with an automatic reserve parachute opening safety element, if necessary.

  • HOW MUCH IT COST A SKYDIVE JUMP?

The price of the tandem jump may vary according to the season and the current promotions. To find out how much a parachute jump costs, check out the tandem pricing and options available.

  • How far in advance should I book my jump?

We usually ask the reservation to be made at least two or tree days before the date of the jump. People who come without a booking will be attended if possible, but always prioritizing advance reservations.

  • How long takes the freefall?

In Skydive MADRID you will enjoy a freefall experience of approximately 50 seconds, reaching a speed close to 120mph, until the instructor deploy the parachute.

  • CAN I JUMP WITH A PARACHUTE IF I HAVE A DISABILITY?

Depending on what type of disability, the physical ones do not prevent the jump, but they do condition it, so it is necessary to consult the DZ before making the reservation.

  • Can I Breathe While Skydiving?

Of course you can! The freefall and parachute environment does not cause any difficulty when it comes to breathing, however, some students tell us that sometimes it is “strange” to breathe during the first seconds of their first jump. This is not caused by the lack of oxygen but by the adrenaline rush and the thrill of making the first jump from an airplane. Sometimes when these emotions are received there are people who hold their breath and do not try to breathe due to a sensory collapse. When you get out the plane, remember to continue breathing normally.

  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO BE ABLE TO JUMP IN PARACHUTES?

Minors can jump with signed parental authorization, although it is necessary that the signature is made in the center’s offices by one of the parents or legal guardians, so, on the day of the jump, they must be accompanied by one of they.

  • What should I wear for skydiving?

Wear comfortable clothes such as shorts and a t-shirt if it is hot, or long sleeves, fleece and long pants in winter. You will wear a jumpsuit over your clothes, so if it is very tight or rigid it may be annoying during the ascent on the plane

Sports shoes… it is perfect. Loafers, without laces or with heels or boots are NOT recommended.

  • Can I wear glasses and contact lenses?

If you wear glasses or contact lenses, inform your instructor so that he can give you appropriate glasses so that you have a pleasant trip and do not have to worry.

  • How far in advance do we have to reach the dropzone and how long do I have to stay in the center?

The time of the reservation is not the time of the jump, but the time that we await your arrival at the Skydiving center. In general and under normal conditions, the activity takes between 2 and 4 hours, counting from the (quitado texto) check-in at the office is completed until you can leave.

You should consider that skydiving is an activity that is carried out outdoors and therefore is subject to weather conditions and other circumstances or setbacks that may influence, such as the commercial air traffic of Madrid airport itself

Because these conditions and for organizational reasons of the dropzone (quitado texto), the schedule may suffer variations, in some (quitado texto) cases. Plan your jump as a full day activity.

  • If I go with a friend, can we go on the same plane?

We will do our best so that you can take the same flight, along with your colleagues, however, this is not always possible.

  • IF I JUMP WITH A FRIEND, CAN WE JUMP AT THE SAME TIME?

You can see each other on the plane, but not in freefall. For safety, a minimum separation time between jumps must be respected, which makes it extremely difficult for you to see him.

  • CAN WE SHARE A RECORDING BETWEEN SEVERAL PASSENGERS?

During the freefall it is only possible to record one person at a time, as each person jumps with her/his instructor. In freefall each tandem is separated about 500m horizontally from the next jumper, so technically it is not possible to see each other.

  • CAN I JUMP WITH MY OWN CAMERA?

In accordance with current regulations, tandem passengers cannot jump from the plane carrying any object that could compromise the safety of the jump, which is applicable to any other element that may interfere with the opening of the parachute, such as bulky costumes.

  • WHAT IS THE "HANDYCAM"?

In the jump + video handycam option, the tandem instructor will record the jump with a camera attached to the wrist of her/his hand.  You will get images of boarding, freefall and flight with the parachute open.
